SUMMARY:Pasties & Cream
DESCRIPTION:The humble but mighty pasty\, you cannot come to Cornwall without eating and experiencing a pasty. So naturally during this course students will learn how to make a the best Cornish Pasty (family recipe!) and sample a traditional Cornish cream tea. \n\n\n\nCourse Overview \n\n\n\nDuration: 10:00-12:30 \n\n\n\nTutor: Various \n\n\n\nMaximum student to tutor ratio: 10-1 \n\n\n\nWelcome: Meet your tutor and see for yourself the Philleigh Way farmhouse cookery school and garden. Enjoy a morning tea or coffee. \n\n\n\nThe Day: The course kicks off with a proper pasty making demonstration that covers the history and culture of the Cornish pasty.  You will then have a go at making your own pasty (meat or vegetarian) with hands on guidance from our tutors – especially during the all important crimping stage! Whilst the pasties are in the oven\, you will enjoy a demonstration of homemade scones.
