Catering

Philleigh Way Anywhere takes our concept away from the Cookery School and out to wherever you want us. We aren’t your archetypal catering company – our cooking heritage is more deep-rooted than deep fried. Neither do we try to be all things to all men. We do what we do and we do it well.

If you're getting married or holding a gathering and would like to wow your guests with some delicious food using the finest local produce then we've got it covered.  Below we've crafted a few sample menus designed with the wedding breakfast in mind to inspire you and whet your appetite. Whatever your event, we’d be delighted to create a wonderful menu for you. If you're ensure of what you're after then we are happy to host a tasting session in the cookery school where we will help you create a bespoke menu for your event.

The Philleigh Way picnic hamper approach is simple and stylish, at each table, your guests will find a traditional wicker picnic hamper.  Once seated your guests will be invited to open the hampers and feast on the Cornish delicacies that you will have selected from our menus.

If you have requested a ham or beef joint for your hampers then one person from each table will find an apron on their chair and will carve the joint for the table.  This theatre, the visual impact of the hamper and the provenance of the food within it will be an instant talking point, bringing the guests at the table together for a good old-fashioned yarn!

BREADS

Each hamper comes with a selection of freshly baked bread. We recommend granary and white rolls, sliced whole foccacias, traditional white bloomers or sourdough loaves.

At Philleigh Way we loved to cook in the open air, whether it's in our wood oven, on our authentic Argentinian asado wood grill, on the fire pit or on the good old barbecue grill. To us food tastes so much better when eaten outdoors, the smell, spectacle and atmosphere created by live outdoor cooking cannot be beaten.  That is why and how we have come up with this menu, we hope you'll enjoy.
