Description
As Christmas is fast approaching, what better way to get creative than trying your hand at cooking over fire! This course opens up a world of possibilities on your barbecue, grill or local beach. As well as covering key skills such as lighting and temperature control, you’ll be learning how to cook killer meals on fire!
Suitable for those who want to learn to cook Christmas food with a difference and step away from the traditional Christmas day “battle for oven space”!!! We will show you how to use a “lid-on” barbecue technique to grill, roast, smoke and bake! During this half day course you and your classmates will prepare a variety of different festive dishes under the guidance of Rupert and using many of the techniques he uses for events and feasts.
Using a combination of charcoal and wood you’ll be taught skills from lighting techniques to controlling temperature and knowing when your food is perfectly cooked.
Open up a world of possibilities on your barbecue.
