On our courses you'll be immersed in a slower paced more connected way of living - the Philleigh Way.
We run day courses, a handful of shorter courses and evening dining demonstration experiences. We can accommodate up to ten students in the cookery school at any one time. Click here to see what courses are currently on offer.
Whilst rustic in styling the school is fitted out with ten state of the art workstations featuring Neff ovens with slide and hide doors (as seen on The Great British Bake-Off), Robert Welch award winning knives and Le Creuset cookware.
A cookery course at Philleigh Way is really like no other, yes you’ll learn delicious recipes, useful techniques and eat some of the most amazing food but it’s really all about immersing yourself in the environment. Depending on the day you might meet a Fal oysterman and talk to him about his craft, forage for edible wild greens, cook with vegetables pulled straight from the earth, learn how to catch a flounder with your bare hands or grill a line caught bass in our woods on the banks of the river Fal – the possibilities are endless.
Not all our courses are purely cookery related and we do run a number of alternative lifestyle courses such as foraging, bush craft, floristry and more – click here to browse the courses currently available.
